01. Consulting

Consulting to me is understanding the business problem/opportunity and advising on the best approach and creative strategy to solving it. This can be branding related or campaign performance related. It’s the thinking that solves problems (along with A/B testing). Then we can get the ball rolling on producing the creative.

02. Creative

Brand Development is the naming products or companies and exploring how they look, feel and engage with their target audience. It can be creating a new brand from the ground up, or breathing fresh life into an existing brand. I have been engaged to create brand guidelines where the brand is not consistent or the messaging isn’t cohesive and engaging.

- Concept development
- Naming development
- Tagline development
- Logo design
- Typography
- Graphic design
- Website design direction
- Email marketing design
- Brand Guidelines
- Social media design

03. Campaigns

Campaign Development is how a brand communicates and engages with consumers across multiple media touchpoints with a consistent tone of voice. It’s where the rubber hits the road, driving engagement and response. Most campaigns are integrated, often a combination of print and online. I can help with:

- Concept development
- Design and art direction
- Copywriting
- Offer development
- A/B testing variations

The actual rollout of campaigns is with the agency, consultant or marketing teams. Another key element is the target audience types, so segmentation and tailored key messages to the segments is critical.

And last but not least is the creative, to say the average person is already overwhelmed is an understatement, so how do you stand out and engage them?

I can help with all the above, across:

- Email marketing campaigns + landing pages
- Paid and unpaid social campaigns + landing pages
- Direct mail campaigns + landing pages

One last word, measure and test and keep optimising the results.

04. Coffee

I was just thinking about another word that started with C. Coffee sprang to mind immediately.

At home I have a lever espresso machine a La Pavoni designed in 1961, it was featured in the 1972 James Bond movie, Live and let die. Fun fact, the profiles in all modern espresso machines mimic the lever machines. They are stunning little art objects in themselves and you can produce the perfect shot.
